Do's and Dont's
Do not panic! Not all snakes are venomous. One is more likely to find a non-venomous snake in one’s compound than a venomous snake.*
Stay away and leave it alone! In most cases, the snake will find its way out.
Do not try to rescue or throw it away using a stick, broom etc. This may provoke it to attack. Snakes as other wild animals, will attack only when provoked or as a form of defence.
Do not attack it! Snakes are considered a farmer’s friend, as they play a vital role in controlling rat population.
Try to locate a snake rescuer in your area or call (202) 25256452 Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs, wildlife section , for advice over the phone to deal with emergencies

البقاء بعيداً، وتترك وحدها! في معظم الحالات، سيجد الأفعى طريقها خارجاً.
لا تحاول إنقاذ أو رميها بعيداً باستخدام عصا، المكنسة إلخ. وهذا قد يثير للهجوم. الثعابين كغيرها من الحيوانات البرية، ستهاجم فقط عندما أثارت أو كشكل من أشكال الدفاع.
هجوم ضدها! وتعتبر الثعابين صديق المزارعين، كما أنها تلعب دوراً حيويا في السيطرة على الفئران.
